Day 40 - Analysis of Kaplan CAT 2
I really hate doing the weekly analysis that follows my weekly full-length practice GMATs. It is a huge pain in the ass recording all of my answer choices onto this spreadsheet AND recording all the problems I got wrong (with explanations) onto a separate Word document. It is time consuming as hell (usually takes 3-4 hours) and is as boring as Star Wars Episodes I and II.
But I do it anyway because (1) I'm slightly masochistic and (2) reviewing your errors is almost as important as doing constant practice. To all GMAT folks out there, stay disciplined and study your mistakes exhaustively.
I haven't observed any super notable benefit to my methods yet, but I know the payoff is coming.
SUMMARY OF DAY 40 WORK:
1. Analysis of Kaplan Practice CAT 2 using this spreadsheet.
RECAP OF DAY 40 INSIGHTS:
1. The analysis is a bitch, but it must be done. Every week.

Great Work and I have been following your posts for the last few weeks. I am sure you will score above 700. Just one suggestion Anyway you can put a link to your 1 st day blog. Right now ,need to traverse back to your 1st day step by step. Or may be you cud put a calendar sort of thing that cud link to all the days.

Thanks for the feedback. I will try to write in a link to my first entry and will look into the calendar idea. Thanks for reading!
Hi Eric, First of all thanks for putting together such a comprehensive blog, simply amazing. I had a quick question for you, I have been taking the Kaplan 2007 CAT tests, but I am unable to view question by question explanation of answers (Quant & Verbal). It restricts after providing sample essay responses. I believe reviewing the mistakes is as important as taking tests. Could you please guide me on the same.
